BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)

Role Overview:
The BBJ NG Captain is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering unparalleled service to our clients while operating on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Safety: Maintain unwavering commitment to the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Adherence to Regulations: Strictly adhere to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM), ensuring compliance with relevant aviation regulations.
- Crew Management: Ensure all crew members are in their designated stations during critical phases of flight, including take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Flight Conduct: Prohibit any crew member from performing non-essential activities during crucial flight phases, prioritizing safe operation of the aircraft.
- Data Integrity: Safeguard flight data and cockpit voice recorder information, ensuring that it is not disabled or erased unless required for incident or accident investigation.
- Crew Coordination: Effectively coordinate work distribution among the flight crew, fostering a culture of good airmanship and teamwork.
- Precise Navigation: Execute precise navigation, paying meticulous attention to minimum altitudes and aircraft system limitations.
- Checklist Adherence: Enforce strict adherence to all checklists, ensuring comprehensive aircraft handling and operation.
- Fuel Management: Maintain sufficient usable fuel reserves for a safe landing at an alternate airport, ensuring compliance with fuel requirements.
- Cabin Crew Communication: Maintain close communication with the cabin crew, ensuring adherence to all cabin safety protocols.
- Documentation: Thoroughly complete flight and technical logs, ensuring accurate documentation of all flight details.
- Incident Reporting: File comprehensive written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Regulatory Awareness: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Professionalism: Project a professional image at all times, upholding the highest standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Passenger Briefing: Provide thorough briefings to all passengers on emergency exit locations and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license is preferred.
- Extensive experience in private jet operations.
