BBJ NG Captain - Flight Operations (Hong Kong)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team based in Hong Kong. As a vital member of the team, the Captain will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while providing exceptional service to our esteemed clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Flight Safety: Maintain the utmost safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard at all times.
- Adherence to Procedures: Strictly comply with all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Crew Management: Coordinate and delegate tasks effectively within the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight execution.
- Navigation and Observation: Ensure accurate navigation and strict adherence to minimum altitudes throughout the flight.
- Aircraft Systems Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aircraft systems and ensure their proper operation and handling.
- Fuel Management: Maintain a precise fuel monitoring system, ensuring sufficient remaining fuel for a safe landing at a designated airport with adequate reserve.
- Cabin Crew Coordination: Maintain constant communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete all flight and technical logs diligently. Prepare and submit occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of all relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operational manuals, and industry best practices.
- Company Representation: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, representing the company with the highest standards of discipline.
- Passenger Briefing: Provide comprehensive briefings to all passengers regarding emergency exit locations and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Type Rating: Hold a valid type rating for the BBJ NG/ Max 8.
- Licensing: Possess a current FAA/EASA license (preferred).
- Private Jet Experience: Demonstrate significant experience in operating private jets.
