BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services with over 50 locations worldwide, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. Since 1967, Jet Aviation has been dedicated to crafting seamless flight experiences for its clients. This role reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations, focusing on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Adhere to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verify that all crew members are in their designated stations before takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit crew members from engaging in activities during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for duties essential to the aircraft's safe operation.
- Prevent any flight data or cockpit voice recorder from being disabled or erased, unless data conservation is necessary for incident or accident investigation.
- Effectively coordinate workload distribution among the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight conduct.
- Maintain precise navigation and adhere to minimum altitude requirements.
- Understand and observe the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring proper use and handling.
- Strictly enforce the use of checklists.
- Guarantee sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to a safe landing airport, with final reserve fuel available.
- Maintain close communication with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Complete flight and technical logs accurately.
- File written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Exhibit a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
- Comply with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Private Jet Experience.
