BBJ NG Captain (Hong Kong-based)
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. As an integral part of the team, the Captain will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of flight safety, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
The Role:
The BBJ NG Captain reports directly to the Director Flight Operations and will primarily focus on operating Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Maintaining a vigilant focus on safety throughout critical phases of flight, including takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Upholding the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring their proper function and preservation.
- Effectively coordinating work distribution among the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight conduct.
- Precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Understanding and respecting the limitations of all aircraft systems, ensuring their proper utilization and handling.
- Consistent and rigorous use of checklists.
- Managing fuel reserves to ensure safe landing at a suitable airport with appropriate final reserves.
- Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure adherence to cabin safety standards.
- Completing flight and technical logs accurately.
- Preparing written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed upon aviation practices.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Compliance with the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Providing thorough safety briefings to all passengers, including the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type BBJ NG / Max 8.
- FAA/EASA license preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in private jet operations.
