Responsibilities:
The Global XRS Captain is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard. This encompasses:
- Adhering to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Maintaining strict vigilance during critical flight phases, including take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Supervising crew members and ensuring they occupy their designated stations during critical flight phases.
- Prohibiting any non-essential activities during critical flight phases.
- Safeguarding flight data and cockpit voice recorder information, except when required for incident or accident investigation.
- Coordinating effective work distribution amongst the flight crew to optimize airmanship and flight execution.
- Navigating with precision and maintaining awareness of minimum altitudes.
- Observing limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring their proper operation.
- Enforcing rigorous adherence to checklists.
- Maintaining sufficient usable fuel for safe landing and final reserve fuel.
- Collaborating closely with the cabin crew to ensure cabin safety standards are upheld.
- Completing flight and technical logs accurately.
- Submitting written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Complying with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Briefing passengers on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current on type Bombardier Global XRS.
- 500 hours on type.
- AOC Operation experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
