Qualifications

Licensing & Ratings

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License.
  • Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine rating.
  • Valid and Current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating; must currently meet instrument recency requirements.
  • Must have passed the IATRA within the preceding 24 months or have passed the ATPL written examination.
  • Candidates must meet the Transport Canada English proficiency standard.

Medical & Security Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
  • Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).

Citizenship & Travel Eligibility

  • Must hold a current passport at the time of hire.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions.
  • Permanent Residents must be able to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation for operating aircraft within the USA.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 500 hours total flying time. (Resume should clearly outline a breakdown of flying hours).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Canadian ATPL.
  • Two-crew, multi-engine turbine experience.
  • Higher total flying time above the minimum requirement.
  • Graduates from an Aviation College degree or diploma program.
  • Commercial or military flight experience.
  • Flight Management System (FMS) and/or glass cockpit experience.
  • Internal Jazz referral.
