Jazz Aviation, the largest regional airline in Canada, is seeking highly motivated and experienced First Officers to join its award-winning team. Jazz operates approximately 500 daily flights to over 80 destinations across Canada and the United States, serving over 8 million passengers annually. Our four crew bases are located in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Our Air Canada Connection

Qualifications

  • Valid and current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating, meeting current recency requirements.
  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License.
  • Valid Transport Canada Multi-Engine Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
  • Completion of IATRA written within the past two years or ATPL exams written.
  • Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Current passport at time of hire.
  • Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency without restrictions.
  • If a Permanent Resident, the ability to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation required for operating aircraft within the United States.
  • High School diploma.
  • Meeting Transport Canada English proficiency standards.
  • 500 hours of total flying time preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Canadian ATPL.
  • Two crew multi-engine turbine experience.
  • Aviation College degree or diploma program.
  • Commercial or military flight experience.
  • Flight Management System (FMS) and/or glass cockpit experience.
  • Internal Jazz referral.
