About the Role

JSX is seeking a dedicated Flight Attendant to join their team at the Miami-Opa Locka (OPF) Crew Base. This full-time position focuses on ensuring a joyful, simple, and safe experience for customers aboard JSX aircraft. The role involves comprehensive knowledge of cabin safety procedures, emergency equipment, and assisting passengers, including those requiring special assistance during evacuations.

This is a local opportunity for candidates residing in the Miami-Opa Locka area; relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the aircraft is clean, fully stocked, and prepared for customer boarding.
• Verify the presence and proper working order of all emergency equipment, including life vests and oxygen masks.
• Conduct or verify safety briefings and secure the cabin prior to departure.
• Confirm aircraft readiness with the Captain.
• Provide attentive customer service and crew support during flight.
• Remain vigilant and prepared to respond professionally to all situations, including routine duties and emergency scenarios.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
• A current and valid Driver's license.
• A current and valid Passport.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Must be between 5'0" and 5'8" without shoes.
• Ability to sit comfortably in the assigned jumpseat without extensions or modifications.
• No visible tattoos or body piercings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Flight Attendant is preferred.
• Ability to speak and communicate in an additional language is advantageous.
