Indo Pacific Airlines is actively seeking qualified and experienced A320 Rated Captains, Non-Rated First Officers, and A320 Rated First Officers to join their growing team. Positions are based at various locations throughout Indonesia.
Indo Pacific Airlines (IPA) is a well-established air transportation provider, performing numerous flights annually. IPA offers premium private jet charter services to destinations worldwide, along with private jet and helicopter rentals for business and individual needs. Services also include Aviation Management, Aircraft and Helicopters Sale & Acquisition, Emergency medical evacuation, Aerial photography, Aircraft registration, Operation audit, Provision of flight crews, Acquisition and sale of aircraft, Advice on maintenance and operation, Air Cargo Service, Air transportation of dangerous goods, Air transportation of documents, Air transportation of pharmaceuticals products, Air transportation of unaccompanied pets or animals and transportation of flowers by air.
A320 Rated Captain (Commander P1)
The A320 Captain will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating A320 aircraft in ferry or freight flying operations. The role may include line training (LTC), TRI, or TRE duties. The position may require transfer to other global locations based on operational needs.
- Technical/License Qualifications:
- Currently flying valid ATPL.
- Valid A320 Endorsement.
- Valid Endorsement as PIC (Type rated) on the A320 family (A318, A319, A320, A321).
- Current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Current RTR.
- Valid ELP.
- Accident/Incident-free record within the past year.
- No ICAO/EASA/FAA violations, suspensions, or current investigations.
- Thorough working knowledge of ICAO/EASA/FAA Regulations, Air Traffic Control Procedures, meteorology, and navigation.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Experience:
- Must have flown as PIC on the A320 within the last 12 months.
- Applicants for trainer roles should hold approved trainer status.
- Salary & Emoluments:
- Starting salary of $9,000 per month.
- Additional allowance of $1,500 per month for each TRI/TRE qualification.
- Layover allowance where applicable.

- Additional Requirements:
- Selected candidate must execute Fixed Term Employment Agreement and Indemnity Bond to serve the Company for a period of 2 years. In the event, the candidate/employee want to leave the Company before completion of 2 years of service, he/she need to give a notice for minimum a period of 6 months.
A320 Rated and Non-Rated First Officers
First Officers will be trained to perform duties as Line Pilots in compliance with the company Operations Manual and DGCA regulations. Positions are available for First Officers (P2), Senior First Officers (P2), and Junior First Officers/Trainee Pilots. The position may require transfer to other global locations based on operational needs.
- First Officer (P2) A320
- Valid endorsement and ratings on A320 with valid ATPL.
- Minimum 1500 flying hours on A320 as Co-Pilot.
- Salary: $5,000 per month (tax-free).
- Upper age limit of 45 years as of January 1, 2025.
- Senior First Officer (P2) A320
- Valid Endorsement and ratings on A320 with valid ATPL.
- Minimum 2500 flying hours on A320 as Co-Pilot.
- Salary: $6,000 per month (tax-free).
- Upper age limit of 50 years as of January 1, 2025.
- Minimum Requirements for First Officer (P2) and Senior First Officer (P2):
- Minimum flying experience of 2500 hours.
- Minimum flying experience on type/variant as PIC of 1500 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
- PIC flying experience in the last 90 days, including 10 hours with 5 takeoffs and landings on A320.
- Hold current and valid CPL/ATPL, RTR, and medical certificate.
- Valid Endorsement of A320.
- Valid and endorsed IR/PPC A320 (family) on License.
- Hold English language proficiency certificate at a minimum ICAO standard Level 4 or above.
- Class-1 medical (unrestricted).
- Passed ATPL Knowledge Subjects (not mandatory).
- No accident or incident/BA in the last 1/3 years.
- Thorough working knowledge of ICAO/EASA/FAA Regulations, Air Traffic Control Procedures, meteorology, and navigation.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Junior First Officer or Trainee Pilot, A320
- Current valid CPL, IR with Multi Engine Rating.
- Current Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Current RTR (A).
- Valid ELP.
- Salary will be commensurate with industry standards and company policy.
- Upper age limit of 35 years as of January 1, 2025, and minimum height of 157 cm.

- Additional Requirements for Non-Rated Candidates:
- Non-type rated candidates should have sufficient funds for type training on A-320 as approved by DGCA, Indonesia, and will have to bear the cost as per company policy.
- Selected candidates will be taken up for training on any company’s facility and aircraft or any other prescribed facility. Management reserves the right to affix the training cost as per required syllabus of training of the selected candidates.
- Candidates would be required to undergo for Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) and candidates found “Fit” in PEME would be issued with letter for training and after completion of training successfully, they would be appointed as “Pilot” on Fixed Term Contract for a period of 03 years which will be extendable by another 02 years subject to satisfactory performance.
- In addition, candidates will also be required to give a Bank Guarantee from a Nationalized Bank of equivalent amount of the training cost (applicable to local candidates only). In case, the candidate leaves the Company before completion of 03 years of contract, the said Bank Guarantee will be invoked by Indo Pacific Air Pte. Ltd., for proportionate amount.
- Cases, where IR Rating is not CURRENT OR there is any other associated requirement for RECENCY (e.g. Renewal of IR, Familiarization, Base/Aircraft training), and the candidate is selected, the candidate will be required to pay the cost of training for RECENCY, before joining. The total Cost of Training required for the candidate to fly on line, as per Regulatory Requirements, shall be borne by the candidate.
- Candidates would also be required to execute Service Agreement and Surety Bond for Service Agreement to serve the Company for a period of 03 years (excluding extended period of Fixed Term Contract).
Selection Process:
- A320 Rated First Officers: After scrutiny of applications, candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a Simulator Proficiency Assessment Check (SPAC) on applicable Simulator at our Training Centre. Candidates, who qualify the SPAC, will be required to appear for a Personal Interview.
- Junior First Officer or Trainee Pilots (CPL Holder, non type rated): After scrutiny of applications, candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a Written Technical Knowledge Test and those who qualify the same and fall in the applicable zone of consideration, i.e. 1:5, would be required to appear for Personal Interview. Please note that the selection process for the post of “Sr. Trainee Pilot (P2)” (With A-319/A-320 Endorsement) would be completed first and the residual vacancies would be filled up from amongst “Junior First Officer or Trainee Pilots” (CPL Holder).
