QUALIFICATIONS

ATP

First Class Medical

FCC Restricted Telephone Operator Permit
-
5+ years of experience in corporate or equivalent flight operations.

G280 Type Rating (preferred but not mandatory)
-
3,000 hours total time
-
1,000 hours Multi-engine Turbojets
-
500 hours Pilot in Command Turbojets.
-
International experience desired.
-
North Atlantic Operations and CPDLC experience are a plus.

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Maintains personal knowledge of the aircraft, airplane flight manual, government regulations, and other air transportation policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of readiness and professional skill as a pilot.

Participates and contributes to the Department’s Safety Management System process.

Will ensure that a risk assessment is completed in a timely manner so as to identify and mitigate risk to the greatest extent possible far enough in advance that it allows for necessary adjustments.

Conducts each flight in accordance with FARs and with department policies and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment on the ground and in flight.

Communicates as necessary with the department leadership and or Scheduling Personnel to facilitate the safe and successful completion of each flight.

Evaluates conditions for each assigned flight and makes the final decision to begin, delay, or cancel the flight.

Maintains a service-oriented attitude toward customer safety, needs, and comfort.

Strong ownership of customer service.

Qualified personnel must be able to manage expectations, provide reasonable solution and always ensure that safety will not be compromised.

Ensure that Crew Resource Management is maximized to the largest extent possible with all crewmembers assigned to the flight, including the Flight Attendant.

Completes all pre and post-flight required paperwork and quality review process in a timely manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires that the Captain be accountable for ensuring that they are encouraging and participating in the development of First Officers in all aspects of flight operations, procedures, policies, and best operating practices.
