Corporate Pilot Position - Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC
Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC (HGA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Pilot to join its team in Ruston, Louisiana. This is a full-time, direct-hire position.
Position Summary:
The Corporate Pilot will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers and cargo for HGA and its co-owners. This role demands a deep understanding of aviation regulations, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft systems, fuel levels, and navigational equipment.
- Monitor weather conditions and maintain clear communication with air traffic control throughout flights.
- Develop safe and efficient flight plans, considering weather patterns and other relevant factors.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and new aircraft technologies.
- Coordinate and schedule aircraft maintenance, ensuring the highest level of safety and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations of the company hangar, office, and aircraft, collaborating with other pilots regarding maintenance needs.
- Prepare detailed flight reports documenting the flight's progress and the aircraft's condition upon landing.
- Maintain meticulous flight logs, oversee maintenance schedules, and provide expert guidance and consultation to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on multi-engine jets.
- C525 Single Pilot Type Rating is mandatory.
- Experience with Citation CJ3/CJ3+/CJ4/CJ4 Gen2 aircraft, including at least 300 hours as PIC, is highly desired.
- Possess a valid commercial pilot license and a second-class medical certificate or higher.
- Demonstrated thorough understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and safety procedures.
- Proven track record with no prior aircraft accidents, FAA violations, or license suspensions.
- Ability to reside within commuting distance to Ruston, LA, or be willing to relocate.
- Flexible availability with the capacity to work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight trips.
