The Pilot Development Program is designed for dedicated pilot students seeking a direct path to a First Officer position with Horizon Air. Participants will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and a clear career progression, culminating in a commitment to serve Horizon Air for a minimum of two years upon reaching ATP minimums. As a program participant, individuals will engage in scheduled program-specific meetings, regular check-ins with the program director every six months, and complete monthly surveys of flight hours.
