About the Role
The First Officer (FO) Experienced is responsible for ensuring flight safety and a positive guest experience while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. This position is represented by a union.

Serves as Second in Command (SIC) for the transport of passengers and cargo.

Manages all aspects of flight operations, including pre-flight duties, flight conduct, and post-flight responsibilities.

Adheres to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company flight procedures, and policies to ensure flight safety.

Coordinates with various departments for essential flight operations such as fueling, loading, and passenger handling.

Collaborates effectively within the flight deck (Cockpit Resource Management) and with other operational teams.

Maintains a professional image and demeanor as a company representative.
Requirements

200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in Part 121 operations or equivalent experience as specified in FAR § 121.436(a)(3).

A minimum of 1,465 hours of total flight time, or R-ATP qualified.

500 hours of cross-country flight time (or 200 hours if R-ATP or military qualified).

100 hours of night flight time.

250 total hours of flight time as pilot in command, including 100 hours of cross-country and 25 hours of night flight time.

75 hours of instrument flight time.

25 hours of multi-engine flight time.
-
FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.

Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.

FCC restricted radiotelephone operator permit.

Valid passport allowing unrestricted travel to and from the U.S.

Valid Driver’s License.

Excellent judgment, leadership skills, demonstrated command ability, and maturity.

Willingness to accept base assignments in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Spokane, WA; Boise, ID; Medford, OR; Anchorage, AK; or Everett, WA, based on company need.

Willingness to work extended periods away from home, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
