Second in Command (SIC) - Part 121 Operations

We are seeking a qualified professional to serve as Second in Command (SIC) for the transport of passengers, mail, freight, and other commercial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects and conduct of flight, including preflight documentation and restrictions, the execution of safe flight operations, and all required post-flight duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as Second in Command in accordance with commercial standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), established Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies on all scheduled flights and routes.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety throughout all phases of flight.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time requirements pursuant to FAR § 121.436(a)(3):

  • 200 hours of qualifying time to serve as Pilot in Command in Part 121 operations; or
  • 200 hours as Second in Command at a Part 121 carrier.

Verification Process: Candidates must provide formal proof of flight time requirements. All prior qualifying time will be verified via pilot logbooks with the System Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Operations during the interview process.
