Second in Command (SIC) - Part 121 Operations

We are seeking a qualified pilot to serve as Second in Command (SIC) for the transport of passengers, mail, and freight. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive conduct of flight operations, including preflight paperwork, adherence to flight restrictions, safe execution of flight, and all required post-flight duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform as Second in Command for commercial flight operations.
  • Ensure the safe conduct of all flights in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA).
  • Maintain strict compliance with all Company Flight Procedures and internal policies during scheduled operations.
  • Manage all aspects of flight duties, from preflight documentation to final post-flight procedures.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the requirements per FAR § 121.436(a)(3) by demonstrating one of the following:

  • 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in part 121 operations; or
  • 200 hours as second in command at a part 121 carrier.

Verification Process: Candidates must provide proof of the required flight time. All prior qualifying time will be verified through pilot logbooks in coordination with the System Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Operations during the interview process.
