Second in Command (SIC) / First Officer - Aviation
Seeks a highly motivated and qualified aviation professional to serve as Second in Command. The Second in Command is essential to the flight crew, responsible for executing commercial flight operations, including the transport of passengers, mail, or freight, while upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs duties as Second in Command in the transport of passengers, mail, freight, or for other commercial purposes.
- Is responsible for all aspects and conduct of flight operations, encompassing preflight preparation (including required paperwork and consideration of restrictions), the safe execution of the flight, and all necessary post-flight duties.
- Ensures strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies on all scheduled flights and routes to maintain the utmost level of safety.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1,465 hours of total flight time is required, or qualification for an R-ATP certificate.
- Accumulate 500 hours of cross-country flight time, or 200 hours if R-ATP or military qualified.
- Possess 100 hours of night flight time.
- Achieve 250 total hours of flight time as pilot in command, which must include at least 100 hours of cross-country flight time and 25 hours of night flight time.
- A minimum of 25 hours of multi-engine land flight time is also required.
