Second in Command Pilot
This position offers the exciting opportunity to serve as Second in Command in a Part 121 operating environment, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers, mail, or freight.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the stringent requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), demonstrating a high level of experience and professionalism:
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time as Pilot in Command in Part 121 operations (as per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)). Proof of flight time will be required.
- OR 200 hours as Second in Command at a Part 121 carrier (as per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)).
All flight time will be meticulously verified with pilot logbooks during the interview process with the System Chief Pilot and/or Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all Second in Command duties with unwavering adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight checks, including meticulous review of flight plans, weather conditions, and all relevant paperwork and restrictions.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft throughout the flight, collaborating effectively with the Pilot in Command.
- Diligently complete all post-flight duties to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.
- Remain current and compliant with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies.
