Second in Command Pilot
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic aviation team as a Second in Command. The successful candidate will contribute to the safe and efficient transport of passengers, mail, and freight in accordance with the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Flight Operations: Perform all Second in Command duties, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies. This includes meticulous preflight checks, ensuring a safe and comfortable flight experience for all onboard, and diligent post-flight procedures.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain an unwavering commitment to safety by strictly adhering to all FARs, Company Flight Operations Manuals (FOMs), and Company Route Familiarization guidelines (CRFs). Prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers and crew throughout all phases of flight.
- Teamwork and Coordination: Collaborate effectively with ground crew and fellow flight personnel to ensure seamless flight operations. This includes coordinating fueling, loading, passenger handling, and other essential tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time as pilot in command in part 121 operations (per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)).
- 200 hours as second in command at a part 121 carrier (per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)).
- 200 hours as pilot in command at a part 91 carrier flying a multi-engine turbine-powered fixed-wing or powered-lift aircraft with an Airline Transport Pilot License and an applicable type rating (per FAR § 91.1053(a)(2)(i)).
Verification of flight time will be conducted during the interview process.
