This position offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced pilot to join our team as a Second in Command (SIC). The SIC plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers and cargo across our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with the Pilot in Command to execute all aspects of flight operations, including pre-flight checks, in-flight procedures, and post-flight duties. This encompasses meticulous review of flight plans, weather conditions, and aircraft documentation.
- Maintain unwavering adherence to stringent Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), company flight procedures, and company policies throughout all phases of flight.
- Demonstrate exceptional aeronautical decision-making and crew resource management skills to ensure the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must possess a strong commitment to aviation safety and a proven track record of professional excellence. Minimum flight experience requirements include one of the following:
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time as Pilot in Command in Part 121 operations, as stipulated in FAR § 121.436(a)(3).
- 200 hours of flight time as Second in Command at a Part 121 carrier, as outlined in FAR § 121.436(a)(3).
- 200 hours of flight time as Pilot in Command at a Part 91 carrier operating a multi-engine turbine-powered fixed-wing or powered-lift aircraft, while holding an Airline Transport Pilot license and relevant type rating, as defined by FAR § 91.1053(a)(2)(i).
Verification of all flight experience will be conducted during the interview process with the System Chief Pilot and/or the Director of Operations, utilizing pilot logbooks.
