Second in Command (SIC) Pilot
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic aviation team as a Second in Command (SIC). The SIC plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of passengers, mail, or freight in accordance with all applicable regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flight Operations: Act as Second in Command, sharing responsibility for all aspects of flight operations. This includes meticulous pre-flight preparation, ensuring compliance with paperwork and restrictions, maintaining a safe and professional flight environment, and diligently completing all post-flight duties.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to the highest standards of safety and professionalism by strictly complying with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Company Flight Procedures, and Company Policies.
- Teamwork and Coordination: Collaborate effectively with ground crew and other personnel to facilitate flight fueling, loading, passenger handling, and other essential tasks. Ensure seamless and safe operations in line with company protocols, Flight Operations Manuals (FOM), FARs, and CRFs.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1465 hours of total flight time.
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in Part 121 operations (as per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)). Proof of qualification will be required.
- OR 200 hours as second in command at a Part 121 carrier (as per FAR § 121.436(a)(3)).
- All prior qualifying time will be verified during the interview process.
