Job Responsibilities:

Ensures that the aircraft is airworthy, registered, and that the required documentation is on-board the aircraft

Checks weather and all applicable NOTAMs where available, and determines fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements

Determines the aircraft weight and balance

Ensures that all flight-planning requirements have been met

Ensures that aircraft crewmembers have valid licenses, medical certificates, passports and visas, when required
-
Completes an aircraft pre-flight inspection before each departure
-
Provides the Passenger Safety Briefing to the passengers
-
Operates the aircraft per manufacturer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and aircraft limitations
-
Ensures compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws
-
Completes all postflight duties, including notifying the company of deviations to any planned itinerary, schedule, or overnight location

Participates in the Safety Management System

Records flight times and aircraft defects
-
Operates in accordance with Hongkong Jet standard operating procedures as outlined in the relevant Operations Manual
Job Requirements:
-
Current Boeing 737 type rating or equivalent qualification
-
Minimum 4,000 hours total time and 1,000 hours PIC
-
Holder of a valid FAA license
-
ICAO Level 4 proficiency in English language or higher
-
First class medical required
-
Able to travel under a flexible flying schedule
-
Willing to travel to Hong Kong and China frequently
