A leading aviation company is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join its Hong Kong-based team as a Second Officer. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to safe and efficient flight operations within a dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Prospective candidates for the Second Officer position must meet the following essential criteria:

• Possession of a Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued following completion of an HKCAD Approved Integrated Course.
• Holding a valid Instrument Rating.
• Possession of a valid Flight Radiotelephony Operator’s Restricted License.
• Maintaining a valid HKCAD Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Achieving an ICAO English language proficiency level of 4 or higher.

Selection Process:

The rigorous selection process is designed to identify individuals best suited for this safety-sensitive role. It includes a comprehensive pre-employment medical check, incorporating the HKCAD Class 1 medical assessment. Successful applicants are required to pass a Management Interview and a detailed pre-employment background check, covering areas such as criminal records. Additionally, as a safety-sensitive position, a pre-employment Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) test is mandatory. Testing procedures align with the HKCAD Guidance for screening of Psychoactive Substances – Annex B, CAD373. Full requirements for fitness to fly are outlined in the HKCAD Aeromedical policy.
