Job Summary
The Flight Attendant reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations and operates from the Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. This role significantly impacts the overall passenger experience by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and delivering superior service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the flight crew in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Participate in the Safety Management System to promote safety and risk management.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks and briefings for passengers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address passenger needs during the flight.
- Ensure that appropriate safety equipment is onboard and in operating condition.
- Understand the proper use of all safety equipment.
- Instruct passengers on the utilization and location of aircraft emergency equipment.
- Provide instructions and assistance to passengers during any aircraft emergency.
- Perform specified safety actions as required during onboard emergencies.
- Comprehend all details of the flight as discussed during the pilot briefing.
- Maintain the aircraft cabin, baggage, and galley areas in an orderly, safe, and secure manner.
- Stock the aircraft with necessary provisions.
- Plan menus, cater, and oversee food preparation and presentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Knowledge of culinary arts, food, wine, and menu planning to provide first-class service to corporate passengers.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the aviation industry.
- A minimum of twelve (12) months of experience (or equivalent) as a Flight Attendant on the same or larger type of aircraft than the one assigned.
- Familiarity with the specific aircraft type to which they are assigned.
- Possession of a certificate from an approved Flight Attendant Training organization, as determined by the Manager, Passenger Services and the Vice President, Flight Operations.
- Ability to pass a company pre-employment physical examination, including a drug screening test.
- Ability to pass a background investigation conducted by Honeywell’s Security.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations.
- Proficiency in first aid and emergency response techniques.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, or related field.
- Experience in a flight attendant role or similar position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
