Aircraft Captain

Honeywell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Captain to join its team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Aircraft Captain will serve as the highest-ranking pilot onboard, assuming ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This critical role requires meticulous attention to safety protocols, adherence to aviation regulations, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. The Captain will report directly to the Chief Pilot and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers and crew during every flight.

Key Responsibilities:

The Aircraft Captain will be responsible for:

  • Operating and commanding the aircraft safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Planning and executing flight operations, encompassing pre-flight checks, route planning, and fuel management.
  • Monitoring weather conditions and making necessary adjustments to flight plans.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with air traffic control and relevant personnel.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must possess the following:

  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • A minimum of 2000 hours of total flight experience.
  • A minimum of 1000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • A valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • The ability to speak and understand English to the proficiency level mandated by ICAO Annex 1.
  • Successful completion of a company pre-employment drug screen.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation by Honeywell’s Security Department.
  • Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
