Flight Attendant

Honeywell is seeking a professional Flight Attendant to join the flight operations team in Phoenix, AZ. This position operates on a hybrid schedule and reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers while delivering exceptional service that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist flight crew in the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System to promote robust risk management.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight safety checks and passenger briefings.
  • Ensure all required safety equipment is onboard, operational, and understood by crew and passengers.
  • Instruct passengers on the utilization of emergency equipment and provide necessary assistance during emergencies.
  • Maintain cabin, galley, and baggage areas to ensure an orderly, safe, and secure environment.
  • Oversee aircraft provisioning, menu planning, catering, and food presentation.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to address all passenger needs.
  • Comprehend and implement details discussed during pilot briefings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • At least 12 months of experience (or equivalent) as a Flight Attendant on the same or larger type of aircraft as the one assigned.
  • Possession of a certificate from an approved Flight Attendant training organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary arts, food and wine pairing, and menu planning.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations, emergency procedures, and first aid/emergency response techniques.
  • Familiarity with the specific aircraft type assigned.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment physical, drug screening, and security background investigation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage challenging situations effectively.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a flight attendant or similar high-touch service role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to excellence in customer service.
