The Opportunity: ATR Pilot Vacancies
Hevilift is currently accepting applications for numerous ATR Pilot openings (First Officer level) to support its established operation in Papua New Guinea (PNG). The selected candidates will be integral to the safe execution of flight tasks and responsibilities aboard the company’s ATR fleet.
A favorable and consistent work schedule is offered, structured as a 28 days on duty followed by 28 days off duty rotation.
Pilot Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Both ATR Type Rated and non-Type Rated First Officers possessing relevant commercial experience are invited to apply. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum mandatory criteria:
- Must hold a current Australian ATPL/CPL or an accepted international equivalent, such as an FAA or EASA license.
- Possession of a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- The applicant must provide a current and satisfactory Police Check.
Specific Flight Time and Type Rating Standards
For Type-Rated ATR 42/72 First Officers:
- Must possess an ATR 42 or ATR 72 Type Rating.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 6 is mandatory.
- A minimum total flight time of 500 hours is required.
- A minimum of 250 hours must be recorded on ATR 42/72 aircraft.
For Non-Type Rated Candidates:
- Significant prior flying experience on similar commuter category aircraft, such as the Saab 340 or Dash 8, is essential for consideration.
