Captain (m/f/d) for Air Ambulance Operations - Reichelsheim

HELI-FLIGHT JLR gGmbH, a distinguished provider of airborne organ transport, intensive care transport, and international patient repatriation, is seeking motivated and qualified Captains (m/f/d) for permanent employment at its Reichelsheim station. As an integral part of the Johanniter family, HELI-FLIGHT JLR operates aircraft from its bases in Reichelsheim, Düsseldorf, and Munich, embodying excellence, dedication, and reliability in air rescue operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft in accordance with the highest safety and operational standards.
  • Perform duties related to air ambulance operations, including organ transport and intensive care transport.
  • Ensure efficient and reliable flight execution for international patient repatriation.
  • Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of professionals.
  • Contribute to the mission of saving lives through exceptional aviation services.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional flying skills.
  • Team spirit and a strong desire to collaborate with a dedicated team.
  • Fluent German and English language proficiency; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Valid EASA license: ATPL(A) or CPL(A) with fulfilled prerequisites for ATPL(A) issuance, and 500 hours PIC on Cessna Citation aircraft (for CPL holders only).
  • Valid Medical Class 1.
  • Unrestricted work permit for Germany.
  • Abitur or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • No minimum flight hours required; candidates with a Type Rating will be given preference.
  • Valid EU driving license Class B.
