Key Responsibilities

  • Operates aircraft in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and company Flight Operations Manual.
  • Performs duties as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), holding ultimate authority and responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft on all assigned flights.
  • Supervises all flight crew members assigned to the flight.
  • Ensures completion of comprehensive pre-flight inspections and verifies the presence of all required equipment, documentation, and supplies prior to departure.
  • Obtains detailed weather briefings for departure, en-route, destination, and alternate airports.
  • Reviews aircraft performance data and calculates weight and balance to ensure operations remain within aircraft limitations.
  • Reports any flight cancellations or diversions to the dispatcher, Chief Pilot, and Director of Aviation.
  • Coordinates passenger arrangements with the lead passenger representative.
  • Utilizes cockpit procedures, flows, and checklists, and completes all necessary trip paperwork.
  • Conducts thorough post-flight inspections following each flight.
  • Completes customs and general declaration forms as required and maintains custody and control of passengers until cleared by customs and/or immigration.
  • Possesses the authority to refuse transportation to any person or object posing a risk to the safety of the aircraft or its occupants.
  • May be assigned additional duties as Training Officer and/or Safety Officer, potentially including the development of training and safety plans.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Minimum of 10 years of flight operations experience, including significant Pilot-in-Command experience.
  • Minimum of 5,000 total flight hours, including at least 2,500 multi-engine flight hours and 1,000 jet flight hours.
  • Must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
  • Requires a 1st Class Medical license and a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license.
  • A valid U.S. passport is mandatory.
  • Gulfstream V type rating and international flight experience are highly preferred.

Candidates demonstrating qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements will be considered for higher-level roles, contingent upon their experience, additional job requirements, and business needs. Depending on a candidate's education, experience, and skill level, various job opportunities may be available, including the Senior Captain position.
