About the Role

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Captain for Flight Operations based in Savannah. This role involves operating Gulfstream aircraft in support of various company functions, including Airborne Customer Support, corporate transportation, and production testing. The Captain will serve as a key member of the flight crew, adhering to strict operational manuals and ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flight activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally in accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP.
• Support Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration flights, Gulfstream maintenance, and production testing.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of flight operations.
• Communicate effectively with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate support for the company and its customers.
• Manage and execute assigned ancillary responsibilities.
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies and departmental Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures.
• Coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations.
• Assist Gulfstream Dispatch with flight activity planning and coordination.
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
• Serve as a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of flight experience as a professional pilot in the aviation industry.
• 1500 hours of total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine-powered aircraft.
• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) required upon hire.
• First Class FAA Medical Certificate required upon hire.
• Gulfstream type rating preferred.
