Guilford Technical Community College is seeking an Aviation Systems Technology Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and support student success. The instructor will be responsible for teaching courses according to approved Part 147 manual guidelines and collaborating with industry partners to provide essential training and education at the Piedmont Triad International (PTI) airport.
The Aviation Systems Technology Instructor will develop, prepare, and teach courses within the department, adhering to the approved Part 147 manual. Key responsibilities include fostering student success, managing instructional activities, and maintaining competency in instructional fields. This position requires active participation in college affairs and collaboration with business and industry partners. The role necessitates demonstrating and supervising operations in various aviation systems, including Flight Controls/Rigging, Landing Gear Systems, Engine Systems, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical Power Generation, Instrument Systems, Navigation/Communication Systems, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Composites, FARs, Forms/Records, and Welding.
