Guardian Flight is seeking a qualified Fixed Wing Pilot for a Full-Time position based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing critical medical air transportation services, operating the King Air C90 aircraft. The position offers a structured 14 days on, 7 days off schedule and is integral to a team committed to upholding the highest safety standards in air medical operations.

About the Role

The Fixed Wing Pilot will serve as Second-in-Command (SIC) on the King Air C90, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients. Responsibilities include meticulous aircraft preparation and readiness checks, maintaining all required documentation and records, and collaborating effectively with dispatch, ground crews, and medical teams. The pilot will also be accountable for maintaining all necessary certifications and participating in ongoing training programs, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and adherence to elevated safety and service standards.

Requirements

  • Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) certification is required.
  • Must possess a valid and unexpired driver's license.
  • Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
  • Minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
  • Minimum of 500 cross country hours.
  • Minimum of 500 multi-engine hours.
  • Minimum of 100 night hours.
  • Minimum of 75 instrument hours (50 actual).
  • Must be willing and able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within 5 years of employment.
  • Previous medevac and/or cargo experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned.
  • Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Readiness to assist with aircraft de-icing, towing, hangar maneuvering, and flight preparation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is desired.
