First Officer - Green Africa Airways
Green Africa Airways seeks a highly motivated and experienced First Officer to join our growing team. As a First Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flights, upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Second in Command of the aircraft, supporting the Captain during all normal and abnormal situations to maintain the highest possible level of safety.
- Set, maintain, and demonstrate high standards in all aspects of the role, acting as a brand ambassador for Green Africa Airways.
- Maintain the safe day-to-day operation of the aircraft.
- Set an example for all crew members, preserving the corporate image of Green Africa Airways.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures by all crew members.
- Report any breaches in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or safety concerns through appropriate channels to facilitate continuous improvement in flight safety.
- Ensure personal fitness to fly and notify the company if unfit.
- Operate the aircraft according to approved policies and procedures established by Green Africa Airways and the NCAA.
Qualifications:
- Hold an NCAA Airline Transport Pilot License (a valid ATR 42/72 type rating is preferred).
- Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Hold English proficiency to ICAO Level 4 or above.
- Possess the legal right to live and work in Nigeria.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, CRM, and teamwork skills.
- Exhibit strong command potential.
- Possess thorough knowledge of ATPL subjects.
- Display the ability to perform at a high standard under pressure.
- Must have flown within the last 24 months.
Experience:
- Minimum 1,000 hours total flying time.
- Minimum 500 hours on modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine transport category aircraft.
- International aviation experience is preferred.
