Joe Morten & Son, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable aviation professional to join its team as a Weekend On-Call Pilot, servicing the South Sioux City, NE location. The pilot will interact with passengers, ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment, appropriately stock amenities, and contribute to achieving the smoothest possible flight conditions. This role is part of a two-pilot crew operating a CJ1+ aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

The Weekend On-Call Pilot is primarily responsible for being available on-call for approximately 1 to 2 weekends per month, typically spanning from Friday at noon until Sunday at 6 p.m. In this role, the pilot will:

• Provide safe and effective operation of the company aircraft during the transportation of claims adjusters, underwriters, risk control representatives, and other staff.
• Support the Captain as needed, including assisting with determining and filing flight plans.
• Conducting thorough pre- and post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
• Assisting with securing food, beverages, or other necessary supplies for trips.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly passenger compartment.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 750 hours of total flight time.
• At least 250 hours of multi-engine flight experience.
• A Commercial Pilot License.
• A Multi-Engine Rating.
• An Instrument Rating.
• A valid Class 2 Flight Physical.
• Jet turbine experience is preferred.
