About the Role
The CRJ Captain is primarily responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft, ensuring adherence to Transport Canada regulations and company policies. This position involves supervising other crew members, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining on-time performance. The CRJ Captain reports directly to the Chief Pilot and plays a key role in executing the airline's diverse flight operations.
Responsibilities

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Company aircraft.

Complete all pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight duties in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, standards, and Company policies.

Ensure all crew members perform their flight duties consistently with published Transport Canada regulations, standards, and Company policies.

Undertake any other responsibilities and duties assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Requirements

4,000 hours of total flight time.

500 hours of propeller time.

Possession of a Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Valid Transport Canada Category I Medical Certificate.

Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

Authorization to operate Company aircraft domestically, trans-border, and internationally without restriction.

Fluency in the English language.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience with frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
Qualifications (Preferred)
