Aviation Captain - PC-12 Operations (UK & Western Europe)

A well-established aviation operator is significantly expanding its fleet with the addition of two Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. As part of this growth, the company is seeking to appoint experienced and skilled Captains to support its expanding operations across the UK and Western Europe.

This challenging and rewarding role involves the safe and efficient operation of PC-12 aircraft on a mix of chartered and non-chartered flights. The Captain will primarily operate in a multi-crew environment, with potential for future single-crew operations. The position is preferably based in the South East UK, serving as a key part of a dedicated full-time and part-time crew structure.

Key Operational Details:

• Rotation: Operates on a structured 5 days on / 4 days off rotation. Additional days off are provided to ensure maintenance of rotation balance.
• Flying Expectation: Flying is expected on approximately 4 out of the 5 days within a rotation cycle.
• Aircraft Utilisation: Annual aircraft utilisation is projected to be between 400 and 500 hours.
• Crew Structure: The flight department operates with a team comprising 4 full-time and 3 part-time crew members.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: A competitive Captain's salary is offered, ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Per Diem: A daily per diem allowance of £60 is provided.
• Benefits: The comprehensive benefits package includes private healthcare (with family coverage available at an additional cost), a pension scheme offering a 5–6% contribution, and death in service compensation.

The Interview Process:

Candidates progressing through the selection process will be invited for an interview with the Chief Pilot and HR representatives. A test flight in a twin-engine Piper-type aircraft may be required as part of the assessment to evaluate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities and handling skills.
