Legacy 600 Pilot in Command
A top American client is seeking a highly qualified Legacy 600 Pilot in Command to join their aviation team. This position is ideally based within a 1-2 hour radius of San Diego International Airport (SAN). The successful candidate will operate under Part 91 regulations for a private owner as part of a four-person crew.
Operations
- Primary flight operations will take place across the United States.
- Occasional international trips to Europe are anticipated (approximately twice per year), with the majority of flying within the USA.
- The aircraft averages around 600 flight hours annually.
Aircraft
- Embraer Legacy 600.
- Candidates should possess 8,000–10,000 total flight hours.
- Ideally, candidates will have 3,000+ Pilot in Command hours on the Legacy 600.
- An FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot License and Medical Certificate are required.
- Applicants must hold the legal right to work in the United States.
- Recent experience on the Legacy 600 type is preferred but not strictly mandatory; support and training resources are available for pilots who have not flown the type in the past 1-2 years.
Roster
- A stable 10 days on, 10 days off (10/10) roster is offered.
- Annual leave is guaranteed and protected; pilots are not expected to work or be available while on approved leave, whether the leave falls on an on-shift or off-shift period.
Interview Process
- Initial interview with the Chief Pilot.
- Follow-up interview with company directors (no simulator check is required as part of the interview process).
- Completion of a comprehensive background (DBS) check.
- Final stage involves a video call interview with the aircraft owner.
