Position Description:

As a Corporate pilot for Goodyear, you will provide domestic and international air travel in support of Goodyear's global business objectives. Primary responsibility is for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with applicable federal aviation regulations and established standard operating procedures. The job is dynamic in nature in that you are responsible for the safe operation of high-performance, turbine aircraft. Additionally, you will interact with members of the Senior Leadership Team, Executives of other companies, external customers, dealers, vendors, and members of the Board of Directors requiring you to provide high levels of customer service to our passengers and guests while acting with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe air transportation for Goodyear's Senior Leadership Team. Display strong aeronautical decision-making skills while operating in and out of hundreds of large and small airports, often during periods of adverse weather.
  • Maintains the highest level of knowledge and proficiency to safeguard company personnel and assets.
  • Complete administrative duties or projects, as assigned. Actively participate in the department's Safety Management System.

Required Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma, Airline Transport License (ATP), FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate required
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. FAA Type rating in Gulfstream 150 and/or Gulfstream 450 desired not required
  • 3000 total flight hours desired
  • 1000 hours Pilot in Command Time desired
  • 500 hours of Turbine Pilot Command time desired
  • Experience in international operations, IS-BAO & SMS desired
  • Valid US Passport required

Personal Skills/Attributes/and Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics, instrument flight procedures, FAA regulations, and ICAO international flight rules
  • Understanding of the IS-BAO process and Safety Management System fundamentals
