Job Summary: Pilot in Command (PIC)
Gold Aviation is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pilot in Command (PIC) to join our professional flight team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft, ensuring adherence to all FAA regulations and internal company policies. This role requires a leader with exceptional decision-making capabilities and a dedication to providing superior service to our high-profile clientele.
Requirements & Experience

Total Flight Time:
Minimum of 4,000 hours total time.

Fixed-Wing Experience:
Minimum of 2,000 hours operating fixed-wing aircraft.

Turbine Experience:
Minimum of 1,000 hours operating turbine-powered aircraft.

PIC Experience:
Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command.

Certifications & Permits:
Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating; valid FAA First Class Medical certificate; valid FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.

Type Rating:
Appropriate type rating for the Embraer Praetor EMB-550 (Gold Aviation is willing to type-rate the qualified candidate).

International Operations:
Demonstrated experience in international flight operations, including knowledge of applicable regulations and procedures. Must hold a valid passport and maintain the ability to travel internationally without restriction.

Regulatory & Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations; proficiency with aviation technology and navigation systems.

Education:
Associate degree preferred.

Legal Authorization:
Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

Skills & Competencies:
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking); excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong problem-solving abilities; proven team-oriented mindset; and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Flexibility:
Ability to work a variable schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with the capacity to adapt to rapid operational changes.
