Sierra West Airlines is seeking qualified SIC pilots for its cargo operations in El Paso, Texas. This role is integral to the company's on-demand cargo mission and is ideal for dependable, adaptable individuals committed to a safety-focused, hardworking team environment.

This position offers the opportunity to gain significant practical experience within a dynamic, fast-paced, on-demand operational setting. The role requires a high degree of adaptability to an on-demand schedule, including frequent overnight callouts, weekends, and holidays, as well as physical stamina.
Job Duties

Engage in professional communication for complex internal and external aircraft interactions.

Provide assistance with the loading and unloading of freight.

Operate aircraft in strict adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Prioritize flight crew safety and deliver exceptional customer service.

Identify and report aircraft deficiencies to maintenance for review and correction.

Conduct flights under various conditions, including day, night, and inclement weather.

Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements

Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument ratings.

Current Instrument Proficiency Check.

English Proficiency (ICAO Level 4).

Minimum age of 18 years.

Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

Valid Passport (passport cards are not accepted).

Eligibility to work in the United States.

Ability to lift up to 125 lbs, climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft.

Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and background checks.

Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.

Willingness and ability to relocate to the assigned base and travel extensively.

Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and respond to after-hour callouts.
Qualifications
-
800 hours Total Time (TT).
-
250 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
-
75 hours Multi-Engine (ME).
-
40 hours Turbine time.

Part 135 experience, familiarity with company aircraft, and/or previous cargo experience are highly preferable.

Possession of an iPad is required upon reporting for duty.

Relocation to the El Paso, Texas base is mandatory.
