Position Summary: Globus Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Falcon 50/900 Type Rated Corporate Pilot to join the corporate aviation team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Falcon 900 and CE-650 aircraft in accordance with FAR Part 91 regulations, ensuring exceptional corporate travel experiences.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct pre-flight inspections, flight planning, and performance calculations for Falcon 900 aircraft.
  • Operate the Falcon 900 and CE-650 safely and efficiently, adhering to FAR Part 91 regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, pilot reports, and aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols throughout all phases of flight.
  • Coordinate with flight crew, passengers, and ground personnel to facilitate seamless travel.
  • Monitor weather conditions and exercise sound judgment regarding route adjustments or diversions.
  • Manage aircraft systems and perform troubleshooting as required during operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of aircraft inspections and servicing.
  • Uphold the company Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company with professional, ethical, and socially responsible conduct.

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with Falcon 50/900 Type Rating.
  • Minimum of 10 years of flight experience in turbojet aircraft.
  • Proficiency in operating Falcon 50/900 aircraft systems, including avionics, flight management systems, and autopilot.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR Part 91 regulations and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Valid first-class medical certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Business is preferred but not required.
  • CE-650 Type Rating is preferred but not required.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and travel requirements.

Physical Demands

The role requires sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The pilot must be able to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus.
