GlobeAir, a prominent aviation company with its headquarters in Linz, Hörsching, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Captain to join their team as a full-time, permanent employee. This role involves commanding a Citation Mustang jet, providing exceptional service to over 1,200 European airports, while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Job Description:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, delivering a premium travel experience. This includes maintaining a thorough understanding of air legislation, agreed aviation practices, and procedures. The Captain will conduct pre-flight checks, ensuring all systems are operating correctly and the cabin is prepared to accommodate passengers in style and comfort. The role also requires gathering necessary information regarding routes, weather conditions, and passenger needs to maintain efficiency, professionalism and safety throughout the service. The Captain is expected to maintain and exceed required training standards and collaborate effectively with all GlobeAir support teams, including Customer Care, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and Human Resources.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess an EASA Part-FCL CPL with a frozen ATPL and MCC. An EASA Part-FCL Medical Class 1 certificate is also mandatory. ICAO English level 5 is preferred. A Multi Crew Coordination course is required, and a minimum of 1,500 hours as Captain on a twin jet or 2,000 hours on a twin turbo-prop is preferred, with AOC and multi-crew operation experience a distinct advantage. Applicants must hold an unrestricted passport, a valid international driving license, and must be eligible to live and work in Europe. A willingness to support all GlobeAir team members, partners, clients, and suppliers is essential. The candidate must be able to represent the company with professionalism and respect. Finally, the ideal candidate will be a permanent resident residing within a 60-minute drive of Vienna (LOWW), Linz (LOWL), Salzburg (LOWS), London (EGLL/EGGK/EGGW/EGSS), Munich (EDDM), Rome (LIRA/LIRF), Milan (LIML/LIMC), Amsterdam (EHAM), Zurich (LSZH), Geneva (LSGG), or Barcelona (LEBL) to ensure efficient dispatch for early duty starts and late returns after the 6 day duty period.

What GlobeAir Provides:

GlobeAir offers a comprehensive package to its employees, including a sponsored Mustang C510 Type Rating course if required. The company provides professional training on a C510 Full Flight Simulator (FFS), encompassing LVTO, EGLC, and recurrent training. Employees gain intense flight experience throughout Europe with up to 600 hours of flight time and exposure to over 300 airports annually. There are opportunities to fly to less travelled airports to maintain and refine pilot skills. The company offers in-house crew services and a flight dispatch team to support employees. There are also opportunities for current TRI/TREs or for becoming a TRI. Career progression is also supported with future involvement in management duties. Additionally, GlobeAir offers 20 days of paid holiday, with a vacation ban from May to September due to peak season. The position includes a minimum annual gross salary of €55,000, a performance bonus based on legs flown, a loyalty bonus after 5 years as an active Commander, and a stable roster of 6 days on, 4 days off, with advanced schedule visibility. Crew members receive a tax-free daily allowance of €30 per overnight duty.
