Helicopter Pilot – Air Medical Services

REACH Air Medical Services is seeking a professional Helicopter Pilot to provide high-quality medical air transportation. The successful candidate will operate within a safety-focused environment, ensuring efficient and secure patient transport.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $119,825 – $131,807 (inclusive of a 35% Geo Modifier).
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 upon successful completion of new hire pilot training.
  • Retention Bonus: $40,000 following 36 months of enrollment in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan.
  • Schedule: 7/7 rotation.
  • Off-duty housing is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely to and from various locations and facilities.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in accordance with all FAR and company requirements, including maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record-keeping.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide comprehensive shift change information to the incoming team, including updating company change board details.
  • Maintain all required certifications and participate in ongoing training.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
  • 2,000 Helicopter Flight Hours.
  • 1,000 Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
  • 1,000 Turbine hours.
  • Minimum 200 Helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided).
  • 230-pound weight limit with flight gear.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Airbus AS350/H125 or similar aircraft.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
