Helicopter Pilot

Air Evac Lifeteam seeks a qualified Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transportation services. This role is integral to our mission, emphasizing safety and efficiency in every operation.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities in collaboration with a team of medical experts.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in accordance with FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, including maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
  • Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam (AEL) and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide shift change information to the succeeding pilot and team according to established protocols.
  • Maintain all required certifications and complete ongoing training.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
  • 1,000 Helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC) Hours.
  • 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
  • 230-pound weight limit with flight gear.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B206 Aircraft Experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Salary Range: $100,071 - $110,079 (includes 15% Geo Modifier).
  • Sign-on Bonus: $15,000.
  • Retention Bonus Plans: $40,000 after 3 years, with additional retention bonuses available.
  • On-Duty Housing provided.
  • Schedule: 7/7.
