Pilot in Command (PIC) - Air Transport Operations

A highly qualified and professional Captain is sought to fill the Pilot in Command (PIC) role for critical air transport operations. This pivotal position demands an exceptional commitment to safety, stringent adherence to regulatory standards, and successful integration into a specialized operational team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Pilot in Command is entrusted with executing safe, efficient, and timely air transport missions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following core duties:

  • Collaborating closely with a dedicated team of medical experts to ensure the seamless and safe transport of customers to and from required locations and medical facilities.
  • Diligently ensuring the complete readiness of the assigned aircraft for all flight dispatches. This comprehensive requirement adheres strictly to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), organizational manuals, and company operational requirements.
  • Maintaining aircraft integrity and presentation, including all required aircraft cleanliness duties and pre-flight inspections, to sustain optimal operational status.

Minimum Qualifications and Certification Requirements

Prospective Captains must meet the following certification and medical standards:

  • Possession of a Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) rating is mandatory.
  • A current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate must be held.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the willingness and ability to successfully obtain the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five (5) years of the date of employment.

Required Flight Experience Minimums

The successful candidate must document the following minimum flight hours to be considered for this Captain position:

  • Minimum Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours
  • Minimum Fixed Wing Time: 2,000 hours
  • Minimum Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,000 hours
  • Minimum Multi-Engine Land Time: 500 hours
