Rotorcraft Air Medical Transport Pilot
A highly respected air medical transport organization seeks a dedicated and safety-focused Rotorcraft Air Medical Transport Pilot to join its critical care operations. This essential role requires exceptional operational proficiency, strict adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to providing reliable air support for critical patient missions.
Primary Responsibilities
The Pilot performs vital functions focused on maintaining mission integrity and safety:
- Collaborates seamlessly with the medical crew and expert teams to safely transport patients (customers) to and from various locations and medical facilities.
- Executes comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight procedures, rigorously ensuring optimal aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches as described in the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company manuals.
- Maintains the highest level of aviation professionalism and compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following flight time and certification requirements to be considered for this Rotorcraft Pilot position:
- Possession of a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Current Helicopter Instrument Rating (IR).
- Must hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate or higher.
- Minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of documented helicopter flight time.
