ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides flight-oriented training to Global X employees, including but not limited to, providing technical knowledge and practical instruction for the safe operation of aircraft and aircraft systems as related to the flight environment in accordance with established procedures, to include normal, non-normal and emergency procedures.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective communication skills during all phases of instruction including daily progress evaluations, corrective actions and/or referrals.
  • Evaluates student progress each day and takes appropriate corrective action and/or makes referral.
  • Use training devices, including mock-ups, and flight training devices as appropriate.
  • Using technical information, develops training programs, to meet established objectives, including writing, editing, and producing materials for instruction, and develops and administers technical examinations where appropriate.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Prepare classroom facilities and assembles all required materials for learning.
  • Completes required forms and records to assure proper documentation of training.
  • Satisfactory completion of the required training.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director of Training, or their designee.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with FAA-H-8083-9 Aviation Instructors Handbook, preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer programs such as Power Point, Adobe Captivate, MINT TMS and other training aids/formats for displaying training information.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of aircraft systems, flight operations, and applicable FAA regulations.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Crew Resource Management and Threat and Error Management skills.
  • Must possess training courseware development skills.
  • Ability to participate in two-line flight segments annually.
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
