Position Summary
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking experienced, dedicated, and professional Flight Attendants to elevate the onboard customer service experience. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership qualities, a robust work ethic, and a sense of adventure.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Successfully complete four weeks of initial new hire training and annual recurrent training.

Execute directives provided by the lead flight attendant.

Deliver professional and efficient service to all customers while representing the GlobalX brand with integrity.

Maintain strict adherence to company standards regarding attendance, personal grooming, and professional appearance.

Conduct comprehensive preflight briefings and safety checks, including emergency equipment verification, catering confirmation, and cabin/lavatory sanitation inspections.

Enforce all safety regulations, demonstrate safety equipment usage, and manage emergency procedures.

Prepare the aircraft cabin, verify passenger boarding passes and seat assignments, and assist with luggage stowage and passenger security.

Provide high-quality meal and beverage service.

Maintain availability for reserve schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Perform duties under stress and adapt to various operational requirements.
Skills and Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Minimum age: 21 years old.

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service.

Language: Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English.

Commitment to a minimum 70-hour guarantee.

Must meet aircraft cabin height requirements and be able to sit comfortably in the jump seat.

Must be able to swim with the assistance of a life vest.

Professional appearance: Must be well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings.

Clearance: Must pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug screening, and criminal history records check.

Must meet all FAA regulatory requirements for the jump seat.
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to handle or feel. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds and pushing carts weighing up to 250 pounds is required. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
Travel Requirements
This position involves extensive travel, including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays away from the base location.
