First Officer

Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) seeks a highly motivated and safety-conscious First Officer to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, prioritizing the well-being of crew and passengers.
Maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft airworthiness, weather factors impacting flight operations, and all relevant flight regulations and air traffic control procedures.
Proactively utilize all available tools and resources to maximize safety both in the air and on the ground.
Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety ownership in all actions and decision-making, ensuring the successful outcome of every flight.

Qualifications:

Possess a valid FAA Airmen Certificate.
Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
Maintain a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit.
Airbus 320 Type rating preferred.
Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to maintain a valid passport.
Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English.

Physical Demands:

The First Officer position requires individuals to meet physical demands inherent to the role, including standing, walking, using hands for fine motor skills, and reaching. The role may involve occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and specific vision abilities, such as close vision, distance vision, and color perception.
