Flight Attendant - Global Crossing Airlines
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking dedicated and experienced Flight Attendants to elevate the onboard customer service experience. Ideal candidates are hard-working, professional, and possess a strong sense of adventure.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Successfully complete four weeks of initial new hire training.

Fulfill directives from the lead flight attendant and represent the Global Crossing Airlines brand with integrity.

Serve customers in a professional, efficient, and positive manner.

Maintain company standards for attendance, personal grooming, and appearance.

Conduct preflight briefings and checks, including emergency equipment, aircraft supplies, catering, cleanliness, and lavatory compliance.

Explain and demonstrate safety equipment and procedures; enforce all safety regulations.

Prepare the aircraft for passengers, verify boarding passes and seat assignments, assist with carry-on baggage, and manage meal/beverage service.

Demonstrate an uncompromising dedication to safety while performing duties effectively under stress.

Maintain availability for a reserve schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended travel away from base.

Perform additional safety and compliance-related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.

U.S. Citizen or possess necessary visas/permits for international travel.

Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English.

Must meet height requirements for the aircraft cabin and be able to sit safely and comfortably in a jump seat.

Must meet all FAA regulatory requirements for jump seat access.

Ability to swim with the assistance of a life vest.

Maintain a professional appearance; no visible tattoos or piercings.

Ability to pass a ten-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check.

Commitment to a minimum 70-hour guarantee.

Successful completion of the Inflight Training Program, including Initial and Annual Recurrent Training.
Physical Demands
Employees must be able to regularly talk or hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent requirements include lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and pushing carts weighing up to 250 pounds. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
This position requires extensive travel, including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays.
