Flight Attendant - Global Crossing Airlines

Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking experienced, dedicated, and professional Flight Attendants to elevate the onboard customer service experience. Ideal candidates possess a sense of adventure, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete 4 weeks of initial new hire training.
  • Fulfill directives issued by the lead flight attendant.
  • Serve all customers in a professional, efficient manner while representing the GlobalX brand with integrity.
  • Maintain company standards for attendance, personal grooming, and appearance while in uniform or on company property.
  • Conduct preflight briefings and checks, including emergency equipment, aircraft supplies, catering, cabin cleanliness, and lavatory compliance.
  • Perform duties effectively under stress and adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Explain and demonstrate safety equipment and procedures; enforce all safety regulations.
  • Prepare the aircraft for passengers, verify boarding passes and seat assignments, assist with baggage stowage, and provide meal and beverage service.
  • Maintain an uncompromising dedication to safety while upholding high customer service standards.
  • Maintain availability for a reserve schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Travel away from base for extended periods as required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while on duty and perform additional safety and compliance-related tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • US Citizen or holder of all necessary visas and permits to travel to any country required by GlobalX.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to fulfill a minimum 70-hour work guarantee.
  • Successfully complete the Inflight Training Program, including Initial and Annual Recurrent Training.
  • Excellent communication skills (read, write, speak, and comprehend English).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Meet specific height requirements for aircraft cabin and sit safely and comfortably in the jump seat.
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including reserve duty, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance with no visible tattoos or piercings.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check.
  • Meet all FAA regulatory requirements for jump seat occupancy.
  • Ability to swim with the assistance of a life vest.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Responsibilities include regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, reaching, and using hands to handle or feel objects. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and push carts weighing up to 250 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel

This position requires extensive travel, including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays.
