Job Title: Flight Attendant
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking experienced and dedicated Flight Attendants to join our team and elevate the onboard customer service experience. We are looking for hard-working professionals who demonstrate leadership, a sense of adventure, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Successfully complete 4 weeks of initial new hire training.

Fulfill directives from the lead flight attendant and serve customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Represent the Global Crossing Airlines brand with integrity and professionalism.

Maintain company standards for attendance, personal grooming, and appearance while in uniform or on company property.

Conduct preflight briefings and checks, including inspecting emergency equipment, aircraft supplies, catering, cleanliness, and lavatories.

Explain and demonstrate safety equipment and procedures while enforcing all safety regulations.

Prepare the aircraft for passengers, verify boarding passes and seat assignments, assist with carry-on baggage, and serve meals and beverages.

Maintain a positive attitude and perform effectively under stress.

Must be available for reserve schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Travel away from base for long periods as required.

Perform additional safety and compliance duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications

US Citizen or holder of all necessary visas and permits to fly to any country required by Global X.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Minimum 21 years of age.

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.

Commitment to a minimum 70-hour work guarantee.

Successfully complete the Inflight Training Program, including Initial and Annual Recurrent Training.

Excellent English communication skills (speak, read, write, and comprehend).

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to meet aircraft cabin height requirements and sit safely and comfortably in the jump seat.

Professional appearance with no visible tattoos or piercings.

Ability to pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check.

Must meet all FAA regulatory requirements for the jump seat.

Ability to swim with the assistance of a life vest.

Available to work varying schedules, including reserve duty, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are required. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and push a cart weighing up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
