Job Overview

Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) seeks highly skilled and safety-conscious pilots to operate aircraft. Pilots are expected to be leaders who prioritize safety, teamwork, and customer loyalty through authentic and respectful communication. The role involves ensuring the safe and timely execution of flights while fostering a positive and collaborative crew environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
  • Ensures the safety of crew and passengers.
  • Responsible for aircraft airworthiness, weather factors, flight regulations, and air traffic control procedures.
  • Utilizes all available tools and aids to ensure maximum safety on the air and ground.
  • Demonstrates safety ownership in all responsibilities, performance, and behavior.

Skills and Qualifications

  • FAA Airmen Certificate
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
  • Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to maintain a valid US passport
  • Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • ATP - CTP / Written test
  • Airbus 320 Type rating preferred

Physical Demands

Employees may be required to talk or hear regularly. Standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms are frequent. Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may occur occasionally. Employees must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
